Cecil V. Warner, 97 of Argos, Indiana died on September 7, 2017 at 9:20 a.m. following a brief illness. On February 7, 1920 in Argos, Indiana he was born to Robert Dewey Warner and Harriett (Bender) Warner and had lived all his life in the Argos community.
On October 6, 1946 in Argos, Indiana at the Santa Anna United Methodist Church he married Jane Marie Kepler and together they shared 65 years. She preceded him in death on July 25, 2013.
Cecil was a Self Employed Television Sales and Repairman and a avid Gardener.
Cecil was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1938.
He served in the United States Army with the 956th Air Engineering Squadron during WWII from February 14, 1942 till October 6, 1945 when Sgt. Cecil Warner was granted his Honorable discharge.
Cecil is survived by his Daughters – Kathy Blackman and husband Mark of Rochester, Indiana; Lori Thomas and husband Ron of Argos, Indiana; Becky Gary and husband Kim of Rancho-Cucamonga, California; Liz O’Dell and husband Wade of Argos, Indiana

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife
Friends may visit with the family on Monday September 11, 2017 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.
Funeral Services will follow the visitation on Monday September 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, Indiana with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren.
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana with the United States Army Honor Guard and James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, Argos, Indiana conducting Military Honors.
