Cathy Lynn (Adams-Chasteen) Fruits, 73 of Plymouth, Indiana passed away on July 3, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. in Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth, Indiana. On February 11, 1952, in Tacoma, Washington she was born to Bernie Adams and Lilly (Anderson) Adams, later Lilly married Virgil Chasteen and the two of them raise Cathy. She’s lived in Marshall County, Indiana since 1970 having lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia prior.

On July 17, 1970, in Virginia Beach, Virginia she married David Omer Fruits.

Cathy was a Housewife/Homemaker   

Cathy is survived by her Husband – David Fruits Cape Coral, Floridia

Son – Andrew (Beau) C. Fruits and wife Jamie North Bend, Washington; Joshua P. Fruits of Naperville, Illinois

Daughter – Rebecca S. Krupp and husband Joseph of Plymouth, Indiana

4 Grandchildren  

Brother – Mark Chasteen and wife Debra of Tuson, Arizonia

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Step-Father – Virgil Chasteen, Brother – Thomas Chasteen, Sister – Diane Tripodi, and Daughter Jennifer Fruits

Private Graveside Funeral Services will be held at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana with Family Friend Patrick Orr. Burial will follow at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana.
