Caro Joan (Moser) Jones

Caro Joan (Moser) Jones, 88 of Argos, Indiana passed away December 15, 2024, at 10:02 p.m. at her residence. On June 17, 1936, in Berne, Indiana Caro was born to Marcus Moser and Linda (Stucky) Moser. She had lived in the Argos Community for 55 years moving here in 1969 from Cerro Gordo, Illinois.

On April 2, 1960, in Berne, Indiana she married Ralph Edward Jones and for 49 years they shared the joys, worries, tenderness, and companionship of their married life before Ralph's passing  on May 24, 2009. 

Caro was a graduate of Berne High School, Berne, Indiana with the class of 1954. She then attended Illinois State University earning a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. She spent her working career as a Registered Nurse working for the office of Dr. Hampton and Dr. Haste for 40 years at the Argos Medical Center. 

She was a member of the Argos United Methodist Church, Argos, Indiana and  had been a past volunteer for Center for Hospice. 

Caro is survived by her Daughters – Sara A. Smith, Argos, Indiana, Sandra L. Ringer and husband Jim of Plymouth, Indiana

Son – Randall S. Jones and Wife Cammy of Plymouth, Indiana

Grandchildren – Brooke Burns and husband Scott of South Bend; Justin Stults and wife Amberly of Argos; Courtney Amos and husband Jake of Claypool; Kirsten Snyder and husband Brian of Plymouth; David Messer and wife Rena of Plymouth; and James Messer and wife Mandy of Plymouth.

Great Grandchildren – Eli, Olivia, Mila, Delaney, Lukas, Tatum, Katelyn, Kourtney (Baylor), Riley, Dayton, Rowan, Klair, Lawson, and one to arrive soon.

Great-Great Grandchildren – Emery, Kyson, and Oaklyn

Sister - Margery Bowman of Ft. Wayne, Indiana

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brothers – Robert Moser, James Moser, Lee Moser, and Loren Moser, Sister – Vera Sprunger and Son-in-law Jeff Smith.

Friends may visit with the family Friday December 20, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Argos United Methodist Church, 540 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Leon Pomeroy of the Argos United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
