Betty Alma (Nifong) Nolin

Our sweet wife, mom,grandma and sister Betty Alma (Nifong) Nolin, 75 of Westview Court, Argos, Indiana took the hand of Jesus on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 4:43 p.m.surrounded by her loving family at IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. She had been in declining health. She was born on January 17, 1942 in Plymouth, Indiana to Noble Nifong and Cora Alma (Stone) Nifong and had lived in the Argos community all of her life.

On November 17, 1963 in Plymouth, Indiana she married Jimmy “Jim” J. Nolin and together they have shared the past 53 years.
Betty worked at the State Exchange Bank for 6 years and she worked at R.R. Donnelley as a Feeder, Utility and a Binder. She retired in 1999
Betty was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1960.

Betty is survived by her Husband – Jim Nolin, Argos, Indiana
Daughters – Lisa Sponseller and husband Bryan of Atwood, Indiana; and Lori Hirschy and husband Matt of Ft. Wayne, Indiana
Son – Chad Nolin and wife Tiffany of Warsaw, Indiana
7 Grandchildren
Sister – Gladys Snyder and husband Eugene of Argos, Indiana

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers – Paul Nifong, Earl Nifong, and Freddie Nifong, and Burl Nifong, Sisters – Dorothy Nifong, Wilma Stults, Jennie June Voreis


Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday March 15, 2017 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.  
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Walnut Church of the Brethren Church, 5975 19th Rd., Argos, Indiana with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr of the Walnut Church of the Brethren.
Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana
