He was born on December 28, 1942 in Lynch, Kentucky to Albert Martin Sr. and Annie (Robinson) Martin.
Albert has lived in Plymouth, Indiana since 2005, having lived in Gary, Indiana prior to that.
On October 25, 1975 in Gary Indiana, Albert married Aida L. (Sierra) Martin.
He was a Telephone Repairman for ATT.
Albert was a veteran of the United States Army from June 20, 1961 to June 21, 1964 when he received his Honorable Discharge.

Children – Albert Martin III and his wife Tanya of Illinois; Jeanette Mullins of Missouri; Quincy Martin and wife Jodi of Maryland; Erica Martin and husband Akeem Light of Plymouth, Indiana; and Robert Martin of Tennessee
Mother – Annie Martin of Gary, Indiana
Brothers - Robert Martin of Gary, Indiana; Fred Martin of Gary, Indiana; Larry Martin of Gary, Indiana; and John Martin of Illinois
Sister - Martha Ann Hall of Gary, Indiana
He is preceded in death by his Father, Sons – Fredrick Martin and Stevie Martin, Brother – James Martin, and Grandson Alijiah Light
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday May 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Marion National Cemetery, 1700 E. 38th Street, Marion, Indiana with burial following at the Cemetery.
